PSTCL Recruitment 2021: The Government of India has initiated reforms for liberalizing the power sector in the country to contain T&D losses, burgeoning subsidy burden and rampant corruption & for improving overall efficiency by making every individual accountable. The enactment of Electricity Act 2003 was the first step in this direction.
Joining the league of other states in India, regarding implementation of Power sector reforms, Punjab Government has also unbundled Punjab State Electricity Board (PSEB), which was a statutory body formed on 01/02/1959 responsible for Generation, Transmission and Distribution of electricity in the state of Punjab.

Educational Qualification:
Assistant Engineer/OT (Electrical):
BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc Degree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics with minimum 60% Marks from a recognized University.
Assistant Engineer/OT (Civil):
BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% Marks
Account Officer:
CA/CWA/CMA
Assistant Manager/HR :
2 Years Full-Time regular MBA Degree or PG Diploma with HR/IR specialization with at least 60% Marks
Assistant Manager/IT:
BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc Eng. in Computer Science/IT with minimum 60% Marks
Divisional Accountant:
B.Com with minimum 60% Marks
Junior Engineer/Substation:
Full time regular 3 or 4 years Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Eng. with minimum 60% or BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc Degree in Electrical Eng. or Electrical & Electronics Eng. with minimum 50% Marks

Knowledge of Punjabi: All the candidates must have passed Punjabi of at least Matriculation or its equivalent level.
Age Limit: Candidates age must be in between 18 to 37 years as on 01-01-2021. Age is relaxable for reserved category candidates.
Selection Process for PSTCL Recruitment 2021:
Candidates are selected based on their performance in the online test.
Placement: The selected candidates may be posted anywhere in Punjab or any other place in India under the Jurisdiction of PSTCL.
