Applications in prescribed form are invited from the Indian Nationals including females for recruitment of under mentioned Graduate, Technician and Trade Apprentices for Apprenticeship Training in the year 2016-17, under Apprentice Act, 1961

1) Graduate in Mechanical Engineering (GME) – 02 Positions
2) Graduate in Electrical Engineering (GEE) – 03 Positions
3) Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) – 03 Positions
4) Diploma in Electrical Engineering (DME) – 03 Positions
5) Programming And System Administration Assistant (PASAA) – 248 Positions
Job Location: Mumbai
Qualification:
BE/ B.Tech – Electrical, Mechanical Engineering
Diploma – Electrical, Mechanical Engineering
ITI – Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA)
Stipend: Between Rs.3542/- Rs.7741/-
Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 14 years of age or more than 21 years of age on 01-03-2017. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates. The candidates will have to produce satisfactory documentary evidence in support of their age. There is no upper age limit for Graduate/Technician apprentices.
Reservation: The reservation of apprentices in SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex Serviceman/Female category will be as per the rules in vogue at the time of selection of apprentices.
How to Apply:
The prescribed application forms will be available on MbPT website and the same can be downloaded during the period from 13/12/2016 to 13/01/2017. The downloaded application form from MbPT’s website www.mumbaiport.gov.in can be submitted along with all the requisite documents and crossed Indian Postal Order payable at GPO Mumbai /Demand Draft/ Banker’s Cheque/ Pay Order of Rs.20/- in favour of the Board of Trustees of the Port of Mumbai towards the cost of application form. Alternatively, cost of application form can be paid by NEFT. The details of beneficiary are as under:

The payment of the cost of application in any other forms will not be accepted.The physically handicapped candidates will be supplied the application forms and prospectus, free of cost. The application forms will not be sent by post.
All the candidates are requested to download the prescribed application form from the MbPT website only. In case any candidate is not able to download the prescribed application form from the MbPT website, he/she will have to furnish valid reasons for consideration of his/her request for purchase of the application form by way of payment of the cost of application form by cash.
