Qualifications:
Basic qualifications:
- Bachelors/ Masters degree in computer science
- Strong C# development skills and experience on Windows
- Good cross-group and interpersonal skills
The following additional experience is desirable, but not required:
- Development skills and experience with C, C++, and scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, Python)
- Knowledge of Windows/NT operating system internals
- Experience in cyber security or cyber defense
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities would include:
- Analyze and learn from external security researchers, attackers and real incidents to develop durable detection strategies across the entire kill-chain
- Implement detections in C# on top of our cloud-based Detection Platform, and validate their effectiveness using a data-driven approach
- Maintain and improve deployed detections as needed
- Work with Data Science team to apply novel machine-learning or statistical detection strategies
- Collaborate with Detection Platform team to improve capabilities where needed
