Job Description:
- Design, procure, commissioning of test benches for LV switchgear and Control gear products.
- Co-ordination and technical discussion with different department for test setup design finalization.
- Interact with test bench / test fixture vendors for concept development, getting quotations, ordering and procurement, inspection at vendor’s place, installation & commissioning
- Interact with software engineer during development of the test bench software, integration and commissioning at shop.
- Interact with Quality department for calibration and test bench approval & with manufacturing shop during test bench trials and commissioning.
- Make the User’s manual comprising test bench drawings, fixture drawings, operating procedure, Bill of material etc. and handover to maintenance department.
- Support maintenance team during test bench breakdown.
- “Implement latest technology, new concepts in production testing to improve productivity. Get involved in VE, Lean, and POKAYOKE projects.”
- SAP knowledge for PR creation, Material Master desired.
- Understandings of electrical schematics, control panel / power panel design.
- Knowledge switchgear products & testing, pneumatic system, Jigs- Fixture. Basic knowledge of Data-Acquisition systems, SCADA, PLC
- Excellent technical troubleshooting & problem solving skills.
