Indian Oil Corporation Limited, as a measure of Skill Building Initiative for the Nation, proposes to engage Apprentices at its Mathura Refinery at
Mathura, Uttar Pradesh
Applications are invited from candidates meeting the following qualification & other parameters for engagement as Apprentices under Apprentices Act, 1961/ 1973 (as amended from time to time) in the Trade/ Disciplines mentioned below:
Positions: 65 Posts
A1 – Trade Apprentice – Chemical (Attendant Operator – Chemical Plant)
A2 – Trade Apprentice – Mechanical (Fitter)
A3 – Technician Apprentice – Chemical
A4 – Technician Apprentice – Electrical
A5 – Technician Apprentice – Mechanical
A6 – Technician Apprentice – Instrumentation
Qualification:
A1: 3 years Full-Time B.Sc. (Physics, Maths, Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry)
A2: Matric with 2 (Two) year ITI (Fitter) course
A3 – A6: 3 years Full-Time Diploma in Chemical/ Refinery & Petrochemicals/ Electrical/ Mechanical / Instrumentation Engineering
Period of Apprenticeship: 12 to 18 Months
Age Limit:
- Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 31-03-2016 (Relaxable by 5 years for SC, 3 years for OBC, for the vacancies reserved for them).
- Candidates belonging to PWD categories shall be given age relaxation upto 10 years (upto 15 years for SC and upto 13 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates).
Selection Process:
Selections for engagement of Apprentices would be based on written test and personal interview. The written Test will be of two hours duration & would carry a weight age of 85%. The maximum weightage for interview will be 15%.
