Eligibility Criteria for GE Healthcare Recruitment 2023:
- A Third-year Engineering or Supply Chain degree
- Prior intern, co-op, or research experience in engineering or manufacturing/supply chain
- Preference will be given to persons with: a major in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or Environmental Engineering
- 7 GPA
- Ability to solve problems in a team / manufacturing environment
Job Description:
OMDP accelerates development of entry-level talent and produces leaders capable of meeting the challenges facing the Supply Chain (inclusive of manufacturing, sourcing, and logistics) and Environment, Health & Safety functions at GE.
Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing Shop Operations Supervisor
- Sourcing/Materials Management (procurement, material flow)
- Technical – (lean, manufacturing engineer / process engineer)
- Environment, Health & Safety (site operations support, EHS media support)
Skills:
- Prior experience (via internships, projects, trainings, certifications .. etc) in relevant areas of power systems & programming
- Volunteering experience on broader community activities / projects.
- Understanding of industrial automation tools such as PLC programming
- understanding of TCP/IP communication stack and related communication protocols
- Understanding of Industrial & Substation automation protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, IEC 60870, IEC 61850 .. etc
