The Defence Food Research Laboratory (DFRL) is an Indian defence laboratory of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). Located in Mysore, Karnataka, it conducts research and development of technologies and products in the area of food science and technology to cater the varied food challenges for the Indian Armed Forces. DFRL is organised under the Life Sciences Directorate of DRDO.

Educational Qualification:
Applicants must have obtained M.Sc/ M.Tech in the areas of Microbiology/ Food Science/ Food Technology/ Food Science & Technology/ Food Science & Nutrition/ Life Sciences in 1st Division with a valid GATE/ NET Score.
Age Limit:
Candidates age should not exceed 28 years as on date of online interview. Age is relaxable by 3 years for OBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ST Candidates.
Selection Process:
- Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of essential qualification and GATE Score.
- The shortlisted candidates will be called for interview they get intimation through e-mail and they must bring original certificates for verification.
