Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automobile/Electrical engineering with maximum 1 year experience or equivalent accredited associate degree with maximum 2 to 3 years of experience.
Job Description: To develop and electronically author tooling information for delivery via the Service Information System (SIS) to dealers and customers worldwide.
- Service Information Developers (SIDs) utilize the ACM (Advanced content management) system to develop and electronically author a variety of service information types used to operate, maintain and repair Caterpillar equipment specific to Excavator, building construction and Earth moving products. Assignments support both new and non-current product design. Service information products that are produced by the Service information developers have significant impact on efficiency and profitability of dealer service operations.
- SID will have continuous interaction with Project leaders, Product design support Engineers and the use of a variety of corporate systems and resources.
