Education: Bachelors/ Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Instrumentation or Mechatronics or Computer Science) or equivalent and 3 years of applicable experience
Job Description:
- Responsible for all maintenance processes involved in ensuring 100% equipment uptime for critical equipment in high throughput genotyping lab
- Conduct interlock tests; ensure the availability of systems and make changes to control systems if necessary
- Ensure the reliability of data transfer systems from the control network to the corporate network
- Develop and participate in Failure Analysis; Develop working instructions and 1-point lesson
- Monitor Autonomous Maintenance activities provide guidance to the team & Keep the documentation current
- Identify, plan and implement improvements in the process, equipment and procedures & develop associated SOPs
- Participate actively in meeting the commitments of the Policy and the Objectives of Quality, Safety, Health and Environment.
- Contribute to the improvement of the quality of the services, reducing the risk of accidents
- Comply with internal procedures and assist in meeting the policy requirements as applicable
- Help eliminate losses and create value by reducing variation in the process and equipment settings by using focused improvement techniques (eg 5WHYs)
- Develop, repair, replace or retrofit equipment as needed to minimize downtime
- Help keep metrics and other relevant information up-to-date in visual management frameworks to conduct teamwork and facilitate turn change
- Collaborate with cross site system reliability teams to learn & share best practices, new learnings and execute collaborative automation projects
