Qualification: BE/ B.Tech – Mechanical
Responsibilities:
- Design of Parts and Components in Suspension System ensuring part & tool manufacturability.
- Release of Designs (3D and/or 2D) for development.
- Evaluation of Designed Parts & Systems; and taking counter measures as necessary based on evaluation, manufacturability and assembly feedback.
- Timely action based on customer (Internal & External) feedback.
Technical/ Functional:
- Good foundation in Mechanics, Machine elements & Strength of Materials
- Understanding of manufacturing processes like Sheet Metal forming, Casting & Forging
- Exposure to metrology and capable of basic measurements.
Specific expertise:
- Unigraphics: Modeling and Assembly modules (CRITICAL)
- Understanding of GD&T principles
- Exposure to relevant design standards. (IS, JIS, JASO, DIN, ISO)
